Re: [REL] Sista leken (1984)

Even if the file is much bigger, it's still a bad VHS-Rip with a much too dark picture. Worthless. It could also be a direct digital capture rather than a VHS Rip. The image in that case would be sharper - although you'd still have those overly dark scenes, which were part of the broadcast. If anyb...

Re: [REL] Sista leken (1984)

Ah, but is it higher resolution or just BIGGER so that it is too large to be a free file? I have encountered instances where that is the case: they recode it to make it bigger, but it is not better. Do you have any information or clue to the actual file quality? Judging by the preview picture poste...

Re: [REL] Sista leken (1984)

We need a hi-res version of this! There appears to be a higher resolution version of the same TV Rip here: https://rarefilmfinder.blogspot.com/2024/03/sista-leken-viimeinen-kesa-1984.html 3.2 GB, instead of 415 MB. Full broadcast quality. Big improvement. Unfortunately my alldebrid account won't do...

Re: [REL] Bandyta (1997)

I thought you might have some thoughts on this topic, deadman. Most movies and shows you don't want to keep permanently. It has taken me decades (dating back to the VHS era) to just begin to START admitting that to myself ... :D I moved a few years back - that's when you realize just how much shit ...

Re: [REL] Bandyta (1997)

I'm as bemused as you are with this kind of thing. If you're watching on a smaller screen ie laptop/tablet/phone then smaller resolution/higher bitrate is the better option (720p with 5000kbps bitrate will most likely look better on my laptop than 1080[ with 2500kbps) but if you've got a big screen...

Re: [REL] Tigermilch (2017)

mi didn't wanna pay for it, so it make me wait 5 hours between chunks. I could get 2 chunks at a time, of 11 chunks. Also, 10GB for a 90 minute movie is ridiculously bloated, a CO2 vomiting waste of bandwidth and server time. And diskspace. I downsized to 960p x 540p and 900 KB/S which gave NO visu...

Sorry to hear that, but glad you were able to get it. What problems did you encounter? Any feedback would be helpful.

Thank you Ghost! Been looking forward to this one for a while. I hope they do justice to the story - and the 1984 movie version!

Re: [REL] Laura, les ombres de l'été (1979)

If anyone cares about quality there is a 17gb remux available on fearnopeer Unfortunately fearnopeer should be called fearallpeers, because they've gone over to the usual closed registration, need an invite system. If anyone wants to join this site they have open signups going on. I just registered...

Re: [REL] Světloplachost aka Photophobia (2023) [Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine]

I don't understand the controversy with this specific film. There are plenty of movies here that have political or religious overtones, a few are actual propaganda pieces produced by one government or another over the years. The focus on children is what gets them included. It's pretty well understo...
