You like it, especially the episiode 2, isn´t it? Me not so much, I found the whole plot with the girl raised up as a boy and only finding the real state of things in age of 10 as a pure nonsense. I can´t imagine in Czech (and generally European) rural pre - capitalist society is something similar possible, the people were living much closer to each other, and nudity (definitely a child nudity) wasn´t a taboo at all. To suppose that Jan/Jana was going skinny dipping for the first time at the age of 10, well, no comment. But except that it was nice fairy tale, with quite strong message. Right now I am quite busy, so I can´t help with translating of subtitles, may be a bit later.

Abel - can you help with the name of the film I was looking for which I posted as an add on to another post ? Basically group of children including girl who usually wears short denim dress/skirt. Think probably 70s or 80s. Only things can remember is that whilst watching TV, the characters came out from the TV including the Queen, and the kids have to help them to get back into the programme. There was also a red indian involved. Bit mad but I think well known in Czech Rep.
