Oh, but this is alright...
Admin Note: klara_and_edda_belly_dancing.jpg removed, it's elsewhere on the net including, for those interested, in the discussion thread "Is it Art?" athttp://www.4debatetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5 .
In September 2007, Northumbria Police seized a photograph of two naked girls from
Gateshead's Baltic gallery. The picture, shot by Nan Goldin and owned by Sir Elton John,
was later returned after the Crown Prosecution Service deemed it was not an indecent image.
Gotta mint?

The Goldin photo is much more innocent even though it is more explicit. The Brooke photos have an air of sexuality, and were originally created to sell Brooke rather than as pure "art".
But had the Tate not withdrawn the Brooke photo, it might have gone the route of the Nan Goldin one anyway: seized by the police but later judged to be art and legal.

Certainly, The Goldin photo is innocent even more belonging to the stereotypical Rock Idol preteen pussy collection. lol.

Sounds to me like they invented a perfect pedophile trapChildren's campaigners had condemned the Tate for including the picture in their latest exhibition, describing it as a "magnet" for paedophiles. ... it was hung in its own room behind a closed door bearing a warning that the work was "challenging".
