15 year old Flavia Monteiro stars in this film about a middle-aged married journalist falling in love with his neighbour's daughter. I've searched the forums and can't find any mention of this film, but find it hard to believe its not been posted here aready! Please forgive me if this is a duplicate. Its an unsubtitled VHS rip of a pre-digital TV broadcast so its a bit rough. I'm hoping someone might be able to find a DVD rip with subtitles

Its a big surprise for me to find a film like this that has not been posted! I won't spoil it for you Kev, you'll have to wait and see.

It looks like a DVD does exist in Brazil, if there are any Brazilian members out there?

Flavia Montero was actually 14 when she filmed A Menina Do Lado in 1986. She was born in 1972. The male lead even confesses to a friend in the film that he has fallen in love with a 14-year-old. I got this version that is different to the original 600MB AVi posted here in 2011 (which is still being sourced to this day) but I doubt my found tvrip is better quality? Pls compare as I don’t have the old release yet

Sadly, initial comparison of your screenshots seem like the 635mb version may be higher quality, though I found a 1.16gb version here:

It may quite possibly be the same as yours. This looks like a great find, definitely worthy of an upgrade.
