[REL] Las Plantas (2015) [Chile]

Movies that don't quite meet the requirements to be on-topic for FLM, maybe because the actors are too old or screen time is too small.

I will fully understand if you move it to VOT, but it's really interesting and the main character should be 17 y.o. I haven't succeeded to find out the age of the actress....

Other than the 'interesting' parts, what makes this a childhood film? In other words, why make an age exception for this film and not for others? If we open FLM up to films with 'children' older than 16, why not 18 or even older? You're a really good releaser - I don't want to just toss this in VOT without knowing your reasoning.

It's definitely not a childhood movie, but a coming of age movie - I mean yes. The actress doesn't look childish, I admit, but on the other hand - Madeline Budd doesn't look so as well - and she was 13/14 y.o. in Home...

Both of you say this is off-topic so I'll move it to VOT. The link is still there for anyone who wants to download it anyway.

I saw it at a festival in the youth section and I hate it. It's one of that movies who you will wait for the plot but there is no one. And that was not only my feeling about that movie... I talked with some others at the festival, who say the same about it, even some years later.
