Teenager Thomas and his mother never stay in one place for long. Thomas’ violent father is stalking them. Each time he manages to track them down, they move on. Thomas has problems with this unsettled life in which he cannot build up long-term friendships. When he and his mother move into a cosy farm house with kindly Lars, and Thomas makes friends with Jonas at his new school, things seem to be looking up. When he falls in love with Helene, life couldn’t be better. But then his father turns up again and threatens to destroy this newfound happiness.
