I got it and it somehow also looks like an upscale from SD. Now it's up to you guys... Which version looks better?

The subtitle translations are different.
(DreamScape's has both internal optional subtitles and a downloadable external file. I am comparing with the external file.)

One of these seems either stretched or squeezed horizontally... Might be useful to compare an object that should have the same height and width.

Yes, my source was the 25 fps PAL DVD, Dreamscape's web-dl is running with 24 fps.Aha, I see now! Different runtimes
I just got the subs from opensubtitles.org. Interesting, that there are different transltions.Holy crap, those are some different translations!
Thanks for making the caps, Night457. I think you only can see the difference on a big TV display.
