Synopsis:
This is one of those movies I accidentally stumbled across in the 'Clearance Bin' at my local Video Store. I wasn't expecting much and was VERY pleasantly surprised.A series of random and tragic events sets the stage for this creepy murder mystery: A young blind girl is kidnapped and held for ransom. Two out-of-work men run over a man and kill him. They find a bag stuffed with cash by his body and they take it. The next day a girl is found dead in a warehouse near the scene of the accident. Are these events releated?
When another girl is taken, a young rookie profiler [with secrets she's hiding] tries desperately to stop the killing before time runs out.
HOWEVER it's NOT something that might be considered by most to be 'FLM' material as it doesn't focus on 'Coming-of-Age'. But the young girls in the flashbacks and the girls that get abducted are very cute and [though their screentime is minimal] I feel they make the movie worth the watch, and worthy of posting here.
No specific OT scenes unless 'kidnapped-girls-in-peril' do it for you..
(OH, but there is a scene in the beginning that shows a girl wearing a ragged dress that has a 'wet' stain down you-know-where, implying that she...) It reminds me a bit of a crossing of 'Mort un dimanche de pluie' [ https://www.first-loves.net/forums/v ... php?t=4118 ] and 'Martyrs' [ http://www.amazon.com/Martyrs-Catherine ... 743&sr=1-1 ], leaning a bit more towards 'Martyrs'..
