La petite maman (The little mum)

Mathilde is the elder of a family with 5 children... and a pregnant mother.
The father is a musician who plays in casinos.
The whole family lives almost in self-sufficiency. The mother makes school at home for her children, and relies a lot on Mathilde to help her manage the house. Laundry, bath of the youngest, dishwashing, Mathilde is "la petite maman", the little mum of the house.
But Mathilde would like to have a kid's life too. She loves to swim, and she's a swim talent. But after her baby brother nearly drowns, her mother gets afraid of the pool and refuses Mathilde to join the swimming club.
Mathilde decides to join it without telling her mum and starts a double life (!). Complications arrive when she has to pay for the swimsuit and when the swim trainer (Eva Ionesco) wants to meet Mathilde's mother...
No controversial scene in this film. It is a simple family film, with a happy ending. it is OK for your kids... if they understand french!

DVB-T rip, MKV, 767 x 460, anamorphic format. FRENCH No subs.

I believe I got a clip from this movie years ago, showing a young girl eating an ice cream cone with a young boy. It was very cute and I've been looking for a movie with this title ever since.

Sorry. My mistake. I don't know why BLT requested this film if it was still available. The thread seemed to be abandonned, the last post was done in 2005.

Thanks for resharing the avi version, I know that many members do not like mkv files.
