It's a rare Lithuanian short based on a H.E. Bates short story (Death & the Cherry Tree), and IMO OT for the forum. IOW get it. :thumbsup

Thx popdrome, this is very nice film. Very visual, long sequences without dialogues, but then again some conversation one can´t catch without subs. Highly visual and highly philosophical movie, kind of Bergman for kids :) About such matters like death etc. The girl has strong Russian accent, but the language isn´t Russian, unfortunately for me.

The film was made in 1968, during the existence of the USSR. Needn´t be mentioned under Russia? Kidding, really needn´t.

This rip is 308MB's compared to the original which was 686MB's.. (Plus; this rip has that annoying Russian Voice Over-dubbing..) :think

I don't have the original link available to me at this moment to compare, but it's nice to have this short film available to a new generation of FLM'ers... :D
