I hope it's the right place to ask for help. I'm searching desperately a movie an elder lady has asked for.
She is not very healthy and she would like to see this movie again.

From her description it could be a movie from USA or UK, probably B&W.

The story is around Xmas time, the girl is very sick and is going to die.
But she is promising her parents that she will not die as long there is a leave on
the tree in front of her window.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I remember seeing it many years ago, so it is probably out there. If it is, loverboy will probably find it first.

If it is as emuler has suggested it's certainly available on DVD.......
