All of the actors (Including Paula)were, at the time, non-professionals and actual students at Van Nuys Junior High at the time of shooting.

The film chronicles the first day of term at a dramatized school of seventh and eighth graders, and consists of seven songs along with several dance numbers. The only member of the cast to become well-known later is Paula Abdul, though she played a relatively minor role in the film

I just found an interesting article with P. David Ebersole(David Stewart) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0248119/

He is now a writer/director and was the star in this film. In the article he mentions because of Paula Abdul's fame this short is being remastered onto blu-ray.

Blu-ray should be available August 2012 according to the facebook site.

Bumping this in hope that someone may find a rip in the near future. The blu-ray did get released on September 4th but only to a very few shops. If it ever hits Amazon at a reduced price I may pick it up but until then I am hoping for a rip. http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Junior-Hi ... ray/52426/
