Btw: there is a reason why I need my videos in .ts format (because of streaming them via wlan to my litte "home cinema" .....). But details would be too technical now.

That's fine - any competent player like VLC has no problem with it along with almost every other audio or video format in common use, plus having lots of other features. Besides that, your rips are very good quality, even if many of them are way too large for me. Maybe someday... LOL
