Momo is one of those rare books who I can read again and again, and it's very interesting that after so long no one has tried to made a remake. The story has so much potential, especially when it comes to the fast pace of our society today or that we are pressured to keep children so that we have even more time to work etc.
It feels like Michael Ende got a glimpse of the future back then.
On closer inspection, however, the movie is a timeless classic and so it's almost a good thing that it hasn't been remade
