That post WAS from 2006. Do you really want to get into usenet? I never dared. It is still going but those ancient files might not be there anymore.

Yes, they are. Most of the files are available for more than 4000 days. I'm still using usenet.

4000 days!?!?! Just automatically with nobody doing anything? Or do they just stay there because people use it? I never seriously checked out usenet, but I checked yesterday to see if I could find something on "Peppermint-Frieden" and failed.

That's the retention time of most usenet servers. But 2006 is just tooo long ago. :cry:
