The Unpolished features a very (mentally) mature 14 year old named Stevie. Outwardly self-assured but not so much inwardly, she tries to cope with her ex-con drug-smuggling father and all the deadbeat friends that hang around. Her home life isn't great but it could've been far far worse - at least she had a home and food to eat. After her parents leave for awhile on a smuggling trip, she and a boy hitch a ride to meet them but her parents aren't going back to Germany, they're on the run again and can't take the boy home. Stevie decides to leave her parents, maybe forever, to go back with him and try to have a 'normal' life.
Stevie is the main focus of the entire movie and is played very believably by Ceci Schmitz-Chuh. She's quite pretty (love them freckles
) and her acting is above par. I enjoyed this film. Thanks for the upgrade, starfish.

I still have the prior release, it's just unshared. Any time you're looking for something that appears dead, ask for a reshare - between, the regulars here, it'll usually be reshared soon.
Of course, an upgrade is always nice too.
