Apparently this is a remake of the original 1954-version?

That version have been released by Goethe Institut... maybe someone here can get their hands on a copy, if visiting your local Goethe library.. They had it here in Oslo, but sadly the DVD was thoroughly scratched... At least i was able to rip the subs, so they can be posted if someone else finds a release of this old gem.

That might be an upgrade to what is already here but the link I posted is for the original movie from 1953. KJ mentioned it in his post. It looks like a good one.

i'm currently downloading a 2.15gig torrent of the 1953 one,it looks like it might take a while.i'll see what it's like if and when it finishes.
