High up in the Himalayas, it happens: truck driver Thor Van Sneider, on his way to Germany, slides into a snowbank and get stuck. Only mysterious footprints hint at what has probably hidden itself in his truck. Once in Germany, Yeti Yoko hides in a tree house and meets the girl Pia (played by Jamie Bick). While Pia becomes good friends with the shaggy and cute animal, Thor Van Sneider also recognizes his loss and is in pursuit. He senses a lucrative business - if he can catch Yoko he can sell it with its mysterious abilities. Together with her best friend Luke, Pia begins an exciting story - whether they can protect Yeti Yoko.

"Yoko" is the film adaptation of the popular novel by children's book author KNISTER.
