Another great film with the lovely, totally adorable Sara Arjun http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4271961/The respected Kathiresan has a big family that is spread far & wide from his village. After 3 years his entire family congregates for the village function at his home. At this juncture, when a minor untoward incident happens, Kathiresan's wife remembers an unfulfilled sacrifice of her granddaughter Tamizh's pet rooster, 'Papa' to the local deity. The family being superstitious thinks all their recent bad luck is due to this and all decide to perform the sacrifice. But things get messy when the rooster disappears.

The creepy looking guy in the left half of the poster is the director.
Lovely slice-of-life kind of film. Large household, ensemble cast, farm animals and their antics (or rather, the antics of the people chasing them). Probably the biggest rooster hunt ever captured on film. Everyone is suspect - from the neighbours to the local petty thief and even the local drunk. Outstanding performance by the little actress Sara Arjun. What a doll.
