Yep it means "Deep".
It can also be used for a water, like a pond or a lake.

This story of a young girl exploring her budding sexuality as her parents are getting divorced stars 14-year-old Melody Klaver. The disc appears to be out of print and nowhere to be found, but I did locate a stripped version. Bad news: no special features or menus, main movie only. Good news: it's full quality, not compressed or re-encoded. And I added English subtitles.
