Synopsis:

Trigger is a warm, dramatic adventure story about eleven-year-old Alice's encounter with a wild horse on the run. Alise, the world’s greatest coward, is in deep trouble. A huge, wild and dangerous horse crashes right into the neighbourhood basketball court.Her best friend Rebecca and the rest of the gang expect her – Alise – to grab hold of it. She’s the one who is supposed to know everything about horses. She’s the one who can ride and make horses jump ever so high…. The only problem is that Alise has lied. About everything. She’s terrified of horses.

Verdens største pyse er i knipe. En diger, vill og farlig hest braser rett inn på basketbanen, og både Rebecca og de andre venter at hun - Alise - skal få tak i den. Det er jo hun som kan alt om hester, hun som kan ri og hun som kan få hestene til å hoppe høyest... Problemet er bare at Alise har løyet. Om alt. Hun er livredd for hester.

Alises morfar kunne alt om hester en gang. Men det var lenge siden. Før han ble sur og sint bestandig. Dessuten, hva hjelper det når eieren har bestemt seg for at hesten må dø?

I den actionspekkede familiefilmen TRIGGER følger vi 11 år gamle Alise på hennes vei mot å ta spranget ut av sin egen frykt, for å redde den dødsdømte hingsten TRIGGER.
