I did not watch it yet carefully. The main advantage of it is the fact, that this issue has Russian, English and French sound and subtitle records. No tricks, no animation, but live artists.

There exists also TV parody with same name from New Year Eve (Silvester) 2006. I downloaded it some time ago. It was interestig by fact, that there played adult TV moderator Yana Paplovskaya in the minor role of robber. Later I deleted it. If somebody would be interested, I can try to find again some links.
Naturally, it is typical New Year Eve parody, not serious adaptation of the tale. With tourist trip to Finland, smuggling of cocaine etc.

After viewing the film

The film is the classical russian fairy tale in static schematic manner, unnatural acting and overacting. Combination of live actors and animation. I personally prefer more natural acting. But children are nice. And some may like it.

For completness: During detailed search, I have found also film Snezhnaya Koroleva (2003). It is musical with adult actors. I found no entry in IMDB, but those two references:
