Well, since the last message before yours was posted more than 5 years ago, I think there wasn't much further interest. I can try to find this on old disks but torrents may be faster.Sully23 wrote:This is topic dead?

1 I am a newbie in FLM
2 Finding topics about movies started to interest me, but it is not so much the subject of conversation, but that the links are so valid
3 It happens frequently not all the time you wait always write the topic sometimes it happens the time I give myself as time passes there must be new updates

I don't think there have been any updates on this film. I still have it shared if you need it.

There's a 1080p version of this available on ok.ru
https://ok.ru/video/1337055906459
The quality is not substantially better than the file available here, but it is alright. As far as I can tell, it is the same language, but there are areas of the film where I just cannot tell if it's synched up or if it was overdubbed in its original language. Check out time 24:34 to see what I mean.

Re: [REL] Tolko ostrov ne vozmyosh s soboy (1980)
Thank you pillowbaker, this one is new to me!
Soviet films of that era were mostly all postsynch dubbed, the same as in other places like Italy or Hong Kong. Even with the best dubbers the synch was sometimes loose. Also, children were often dubbed by squeaky adults. This film according to IMDB was in Russian and Azerbaijani languages, so if it was dubbed in a fully Russian version (which was common) then the lipsynch would DEFINITELY not match for the actors who spoke Azerbaijani on set. So I am sure your observation of lack of synch is correct, even if I can not tell in the scene with the dancing girl!
P.S.: I finally did figure out that many of the 720p and 1080p files at ok.ru are upscales and not native HD. And their upscales are nowhere near as good as what ghost accomplishes!
How am I supposed to follow the lipsynch when the girl is doing pirouettes and pliés that drop her out of frame?pillowbaker wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 2:34 am The quality is not substantially better than the file available here, but it is alright.
