Actually this is a nice little chiller from Jaume Balagueró; the director that gave us 'The Nameless' [Los Sin nombre {1999}: http://imdb.com/title/tt0222368/ ], about a lady who's daughter is kidnapped/killed by a strange cult; and 'Darkness' (2002) [ http://imdb.com/title/tt0273517/ ] with a still cute 15 yo Anna Paquin.

It also stars Calista Flockhart from the US series, 'Ally McBeal'.

It doesn't spend as much time as I would have liked on the girls, but they hold their own, and though slow moving [to some]; the story kept my attention.

The main thing I liked about it was that the 'theme' of the movie was a departure from the director's other two films, which were VERY similar.

Anyway, all this to say; GREAT post, [again!] popdrome! Keep 'em coming!

(BTW, popdrome: I notice that your post says 'Spanish Movie with British Actors': My DVD has it with both a Spanish and English soundtrack. The English is not dubbed; they are actually speaking it... )
