Misa’s mother is dead, and Misa doesn’t feel like going on summer holiday with her father and his new girlfriend. Instead she decides to spend summer with her grandmother up in beautiful, but tranquil, Lapland. Her grandmother doesn’t even have a television and Misa is soon bored. She begins to explore the wilderness and one day Misa sees a wolf that has just cubbed. When the wolf is later killed, Misa takes on the task of saving the cubs. That, however, proves to be a difficult and dangerous task.
