ferdi111, if you're trying to preview the .part file from eMule you may need to wait until you get more of it downloaded. I can preview what I have with MPC 64-bit but VLC is still telling me it can't decode it.

I have the whole file. It plays well on my laptop, but be aware you need a fairly good computer to be able to play it. If you have a discrete graphics adapter (nvidia or amd), things will go a lot smoother.

It seems that my computer isn't good enough to play this type of file I suppose x265 is one to blame.
Latest VLC atarted to do it but it lagged horribly.

But thank you anyway, especially for the info about English subs.

About the movie... if you know Astrid Lindgren you know this story too.
From the early 60s she was himself involved when they started to adapt her stories to the screen.

i did a couple of 265 encodes recently,they play ok on my pc,but considering the widespread difficulty i decided to leave the codec be for the time being,there's no need to make things harder for those with basic equipment setups.

How did you manage to get ASS subs (text)? I only get pgssub (graphical).

Even on my laptop, MPC-HC plays it but VLC, while it does play it, creates extreme CPU usage. It is so bad that, this being summer in India, the laptop shuts down after a few minutes due to overheating.

About subs, the ones at opensubtitles.com are badly out of sync on my laptop. MPC-HC's (64 bit) subtitle delay feature doesn't seem to work on Windows 8.1. Could someone please confirm that the subs are fine on their system?
