[REL] The Famous Five (TV Series) (1996)
Re: [REL] The Famous Five (TV Series) (1996)
Thank you for your kind words. This is British children's TV at it's very best, based on Enid Blyton characters that have been entertaining kids and adults (myself included) for many years. Expect a very 'English' feel, absolutely no OT moments (but the whole series IS OT) and an overall feeling of a better world when kids were kids & you knew exactly who the baddies were 30 seconds into the programme AND the kids always win! Similarities can be drawn between recent releases 'Swallows & Amazons' & 'The Railway Children' so if you like those you'll probably like these.
There is the other small matter of me & my avatar (in case you hadn't noticed, Laura Petela, who features in the series). I'd like her transported back in time 10 years & delivered to me for Christmas. Gift wrapped is not necessary!
I'll be keeping these shared for the foreseeable future & then archiving. You'll then only need to ask for them to be reshared.

All the images you uploaded in this thread were dead. I don't know if you kept copies, but I had downloaded them before they died, so I just uploaded them to postimage and edited the image links. Hope this helps people atrracted to this thread by your bump.

I really thought I'd lost the plot when I scrolled down the thread still half-asleep this morning & found the pics had reappeared! Thanks for this FLL & a good reason for using postimage rather than third party image hosting.
It goes without saying all episodes can be reshared if required.......this really is a good series!

I am not sure who that someone is? Mimzy perhaps?yokodreamer wrote:Maybe someone can reshare this as a Christmas present
LB has chosen not to participate anymore and I don't think that I still have these. It is a great series so I bought the dvds a long time ago and I think I deleted the rips? I will check my archives.
I am getting to the point of not participating myself. It has been theorized that because me and Starfish have been releasing on a regular basis 'others' are not contributing. I have purposely not released anything lately and 'others' are still not contributing. My desire to supply material is not as strong as it was. If the contribution here doesn't change soon I too am going to sit on the side lines and wait/watch/leech.

i agree completely,Ptg.This site is the only one of it's kind,so when new material dries up,lets see what the countless, nameless leeches do,all the members who pop in,click a link and piss off whout the decency to even introduce themselves.
