LOL Rich! You forgot to mention blindly toeing the American line. :dance

Case in point: The BBC movie review programme used to pronounce Cannes correctly (to rhyme with barn). Then they noticed that the Americans were pronouncing it as 'can'. So after a while the BBC too started calling it 'can'.
Some time later, the Americans started using the correct pronunciation. Wonder what the BBC will do now. :bigups
No wonder the French hate them both. :thumbsup
