Some confusion as to whether this should be a UK or Australia release. Being a TV movie it's possibly dependent in which country it's being viewed!

Story of two children from Liverpool involved in the mass transportation of deprived and homeless children from all parts of Britain to areas of the British Empire in the 1950s, ending up in Australia.

The source for this edit was a two-part release from TheBox although it was also released to usenet, where I got it from. It was suffering from a bloated file-size, possibly due to having almost more black bar area than picture & barely audible audio. I've edited & joined the two files, cropped & slightly resized & corrected the audio. The original release claims to be a DVD rip but I have my doubts.........I think it is far more likely to be of DVDR/TV capture origin. The quality is good, only marred by a not quite pin-sharp picture. You can always imagine it's a David Hamilton movie ................. I've kept the file size just under 2gb.......it sounds large but bear in mind this is well over 3 hours long.

I grabbed this one before I went to bed purely on name alone. (I play in a band that plays Irish pub tunes and this is the title of an oft requested song..)

The girl predominately featured in the pix sorta reminds me of the girl in the movie 'Her Majesty'...

Another movie off my looking for list. I saw this when it first came out and have been looking for this ever since.

Your a champ Loverboy for this release thank for this.

It is a great movie, the girl in it is amazing. She did another movie that came out at about this time called PRIEST. This movie also is well worth looking for.
