Cider with Rosie (1971)
From Laurie Lee's autobiography comes this classic tale of growing up in the British countryside during the early 1900s. Placing our young hero (Stephen Grendon, Philip Hawkes, Peter Chandler) at roughly four, eight and twelve years of age, vignettes show Laurie's introduction to school, death, love and more. Slightly better than the 1998 version.

Its true, because its safer to be "friends" with that terrible dictator than his "enemy".
Of course in reality, we hate him and everything he stands for.
Anyhoo, back to the topic......... I didnt download this and I dont know the country.
IMDB is no help because they only list 1975 and 1998 versions.
