In September 1938 a British detective comes to a small French coastal town in order to investigate the death of a colleague. Prime suspects are the members of English aristocratic family with plenty of skeletons in the closet.

Trivia section at IMDB suggests that this was inspired by an Agatha Christie novel, but if you are expecting a good murder mystery with inspired police work, you'll be disappointed. Watch it instead for the exquisite Gabrielle Anwar. This version was downloaded from a torrent - link below - but it does not seem to deserve the 18 certificate. Maybe there is a more explicit version somewhere that does.

i had this for ages,but i reckoned it didn't have enough screentime for the little girl to qualify release here,some nice flashback moments,but the movie mainly focuses on her later life.
good movie though.

Yes, that's always an issue with this type of films. Let's hope there's an extended version somewhere. The film is about long-standing brother-sister incest that dates back to childhood, so they must at least have thought about it.

A must-have for Kiera fans, though. She has lovely eyes now; at 10y they appear positively huge.

i think it could maybe just qualify as ontopic,there are probably enough screen minutes to leave it where it is,someone else will se it soon enough and comment........maybe.
