Taking random info found line, smashing it together and declaring it as unquestionably true, Airspeed "originally premiered as a TBS original movie of the week" on "Aug 18th, 1998" and was first released to home video on "29 January 1999" in Argentina. In Germany it appeared theatrically on "13 February 2000" probably as part of a film festival highlighting the best of current Hollywood film.

Or a shorter more general version, IMDB took its "Release date" from the earliest theatrical or home media release and not from its television broadcast.
