Sal and Ray are two young sisters living in the countryside at the Lattimer Orphanage for Girls. Sal, an adorable ten year old, is a devoted animal lover who dreams of one day having a dog of her own while her younger sister Ray wants nothing more then a place to call home.
When Sal stumbles across an abandoned puppy in the woods on the same day that they discover that they've been adopted, it looks like their dreams are about to come true. But really their troubles have only just begun…

Saw 'Little Miss Sunshine' in the theaters a few weeks ago and LOVED Abigail in it. They intentionally made her look a bit 'frumpy' in that one; so I hope she gets back to looking like her cute little self in THIS movie!

Nim's Island and
Little Miss Sunshine. And there were animals around her when she was Nim, right? I enjoyed that one anyway.
Maybe that little puppy will EAT someone when it grows up. That would be cool.
