As requested.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119558/

For the age doubters:

Since actress Dominique Swain was only 15 at the time of filming, a pillow had to be placed between her and Jeremy Irons' lap during all their scenes together.IMDB

Thank you Debaser. I've had the Deleted Scenes on this vid for years. Time to see the entire movie I think.

I heard a body double was used for some of the scenes.

Ah yes, I know the scenes in question.
To be honest, the film is good enough without those scenes.

I know a few people that really slated this film, but I actually really enjoyed it.

For a start, Swain really was 15 :dance
I also think Jeremy Irons was excellent in this film, and I really could feel his frustration.
The scene when Swain runs up the stairs and wraps her legs around Irons!.... the poor poor man just wants to bang her into next Sunday, but he cant.
I heard a body double was used for some of the scenes.
I watched a documentary on Lolita a little while ago, and I am glad to reveal that a body double wasn’t used.

Who cares? In the scenes that matter, it's so dark you hardly see anything anyway...

In the book, Lolita was 12.
My point being, she wasnt 18 :)

I think most of the scenes counted seeing as she was only 15 :)

I was disappointed compared to other great movies like "Beau Pere" and "Laura". :( American sensibilities. Bah!

I said that in response to the question of whether or not a body double was used. I meant to say it doesn't matter, since the scenes are too dark to tell who it was.

I think Sue lyons was 15 in original anyway ?

This is an example of a remake which (IMO) is better than the orif=ginal - there is much more suggestiveness and Dominique was perfect for this part. A fine film which I would recommend to everyone.
