Thanks lb!
Damn, for Christmas I should have bought the Chrissa American Girl doll instead of Mia (who was the 2008 American Girl doll of the year but didn't have her own movie)

I really hope you bought the doll for some little girl and not for yourself.FLL wrote:Thanks lb!

Well it looks like the marketing ploy for this movie has worked rather well................FLL's collecting the dolls & you're getting emotionally involved in the plot! ......something the American movie industry surpasses at. I liked this although I'll never try to convince anyone it's an entertainment milestone or even a particularly good movie. I shudder to think what the end result would have been had this been a UK production........Amadeus reckons the USA movie industry rules the world & in this case I tend to agree! I liked the theme of addressing the issue of school bullying, something that is sadly all too prevalent in the UK.........shame the real solutions to it couldn't have been more clearly defined.emuler wrote:Did anyone else want to wring that neck
