from http://lostmoviesarchive.com/movie.php?id=825 :
After running away from her last foster placement with the Regan family, twelve year old Hollis Woods is placed with a new foster mother,
the loving, retired art teacher, Josie Cahill. Hollis is a talented artist and her life stories unfold through her pictures.

One revealing picture is the "W" picture Hollis drew for a first grade class assignment on the letter "w". Hollis drew her Wish, her Want.
She drew a picture of a family. Hollis had that family in the Regan's, but fear of attachment and motional turmoil caused her to run away.
As Josie's forgetfulness grows worse, Hollis is forced into the role of caretaker. Through her artwork and her care of Josie,
Hollis Woods finds her family.

Based on the Newberry Honor award winning book with the same name.

Cought this on t.v. When it aired last year I think it was -- Having lost a grandfather to that disease I decided to watch it. Not a bad flick actually for a Hallmark movie (nothing on-topic) but worth it never the less. Jodelle has alot of screen time.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks Art! This has been on my list of "need to see" for awhile. Since 2007 to be exact :D I wish Jodelle would continue in the horror genre, she would make a great scream queen like former FLM love Danielle Harris (Halloween 4 + 5,) who is still doing horror now, like the remake of Halloween and great Hatchet series.

Danielle Harris in case you are not a horror aficionado and forgot her :D

then and now

This story of a troubled foster child stars 12-year-old Jodelle Ferland. As Hallmark movies go, this one is exceptional (probably because it was based on a book). If you haven't seen it before you'll enjoy the story. And of course, Jodelle is super cute. 8-)

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps. You can still burn an .iso file to disc while it's being shared. It won't interfere with the recording process.
