[REL] My Old Man (1979)

Especially for kev ;)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079597/

Continuing the Kristy McNichol releases.......
Frank Butler (Warren Oates), a drunken, down-on-his-luck horse trainer, reunites with his teenage daughter, Jo (Kristy McNichol), whom he hasn't seen in years. Frank takes Jo under his wing and introduces her to the horse-racing circuit, but a scandal that he just can't seem to outrun still haunts him. Eileen Brennan co-stars as a kind waitress who befriends the pair. This 1979 TV movie is loosely based on an Ernest Hemingway short story.

While watching The Summer of my German Soldier I found myself thinking of Sally Field a lot. :think

She looks like a bullfrog that's been stung by a wasp

My monitor's aspect ratio is wrong and I'm too lazy to correct it, so the FS picture is stretched to WS, making that comment closer to the mark than you ever expected. :icon_biggrin2

Having now sourced 'Like Mom, Like Me', should I release this?

Early indications show that things are not looking good for kev's team :icon_biggrin2

If you like Kristy McNichol, you must see White Dog (or Trained To Kill). She's 20 there but always on short. :drool
