I still remember the "stop, drop, and cover" drills we had in gradeschool and I remember how scared everyone was that the other country would drop the nukes. The emotions of the kids and adults in this film were common back then. Even though this movie is a little hokey, mainly because of the time it was made, it's still an eye-opener.
