Cold Case - The Sleepover (2004)

Just to share more with this wonderful site, I offer up this little gem.

In 1990, a young girl is found dead with strange markings drawn all over her body. It's later discovered that the night before she died she had just come from a sleepover where she was humiliated by 3 girls who pretended to be her friends. Abigail Mavity plays Rita Baxter, the young nerdy girl who was found dead after the sleepover. The mean girls are played by Carly Schroeder, Daveigh Chase & Ashley Rose Orr. This is a pretty good episode (if I do say so myself ) Most of the episode is told in flashback and features some good music from the era. I also think it's interesting to see how it shows how a person's childhood experiences can affect you later in life. This was a pretty emotional episode (for me at least) and there's this one scene with the "queen bee's" creepily strict parents that takes place in a bathroom that will make your skin crawl. I hope you all like it.

Human remains found in the river supposedly belong to a girl, Det Liily Rush and Scotty Valens investigate a case that goes back to 1965 in which 2 twins and breast are attacked by their father but the turn that will give the investigation is that there are 2 suspects both are colleagues from the same police forcé

The end episode me anger and sadness to see that the term twins Dad throwing one into the river from a bridge

A case of a girl who disappeared in 1975 reopens to the discovery of new clues that leads Detective Rush to investigate further where at that time two best friends talked about the fireflies but could not be together because of differences in skin color in a principle suspect that he was the older brother of his black girl friend but the case takes a sharp turn since there was never homicide.

It is the only episode of the series where there is a happy ending and a reunion

Det Kat Miller of Homicide Squad reviewed 2 cases of homicide that she witnessed when she worked as an undercover in the anti-gang division, Rush finding her reviewing the old cases decides to reopen them in which the main incognita both murders occurred at the same time in 2002 and They believe that both are connected and they are not coincidence.
