Story of a father struggling to support his family and whose pride and optimism prevent him from seeking help until it is too late. He tries to prove to his kids that even with the death of his wife and the loss of his job that they can and will survive. Jena Malone and Shelton Dane play the kids and both have lots of good scenes. Allegra Denton plays Jena's friend and her doctor's daughter. Might be a bit sad to watch during the holidays but if you are fan of Jena Malone then this one's a keeper. I loved this one so much I wrote the Wikipedia article on it

The screencaps are from my rip. If you turn on the "Deinterlace" option on VLC then it should be fine.
