You just answered why I think the mule is better for longevity than torrent. Yet you disagree? I can only assume you disagree because you have not gotten all the files you have tried to get on the mule. The mule is a social thing, meaning sometimes you need to know people who have the file. We do offer that here at FLM. On torrent try and get a file that has not been seeded for a while. It usually does not happen. Try that here and usually it does happen. As you said anyone can easily reshare. Better right?

I thought you meant that ed2k links are alive for years by themselves. Usually that's not the case, because the number of files that can be efficiently shared is limited. Posters have to take care of sharing their own "releases", so they can't keep sharing everything they download too...
