[REL] Copper (2012 - )
Re: [REL] Copper (2012 - ) [UK]
I add my recommendations to those of donkeykog. Just finished watching the first season. The girl doesn't have a whole lot of on-screen time in the rest of the episodes, but there is enough to keep us interested, given that she's a former child prostitute who is not, er.., fully reconciled to being reformed.
Re: [REL] Copper (2012 - ) [UK]
btw.. why is this in the UK section? IMDB says BBC America, location Canada.

Fixed.

HAHA, guys.
This is a British production, made for USA in Canada! So I just went with UK as they were the money behind it!
So glad you got to see the other episodes and reported back emuler! It seems like in older times people had more discussions on the movies posted then we do today, so it's nice to hear back what people thought after viewing! And yes, she doesn't quite reform, does she!

Sometimes it can be inconclusive but we usually go by IMDb's listing. A film might be funded by Canada, filmed in Thailand, directed by a Czech, with Japanese actors playing Indian characters speaking Hebrew, with final production in Argentina and distributed by a German company. If it's listed on IMDb as a United States film, it will probably be put in the US forum.donkeycog wrote:This is a British production, made for USA in Canada! She is cute. Made me think of the Miserables movie for some reason.
Re: [REL] Copper (2012 - )
Definitely some parallels between the two stories.
It's too bad Kiara Glasco dropped off the face of the Earth after 2015. There are basically two paths for a child actor. One is to go the Disney route, do kids' content and then try to transition to adult acting later, the other is to take on child roles in movies and TV aimed at adult audiences. That second path is the better of the two for longevity in the business. Edgy content especially can establish a reputation with their very first role. You would've expected Kiara to still be acting today - she should have quite a few more projects to her name by now. I wonder what happened?
Re: [REL] Copper (2012 - )
There is the possibility she wasn't enjoying it, or went on to do other things.
I'm not saying that's the case here, but it happens a lot.

Did anyone spot there was a blu-ray release of the 2 seasons. Time for an upgrade?
