Weird movie, but RFF scenes are there. This rip is confirmed and excellent quality plus subtitles not that they are really needed seeing as there is little dialog.

I cant find this in either the china section or the korean section. I checked uloz and downloaded something of the same name but its not the same movie.

It is available on vimeo but only in 360p. I really want something in better quality. It shouldnt be this hard to find since it seems its a pretty decent movie.

It is a Taiwan film, but I won't get into a political discussion about that.

I moved your post into the original Release thread once I found it. A good way to search for movies here is by using the tt title code from the IMDB weblink. In this case I searched tt3119416 and found this thread.

Lara's 720p emule Release is still available at 100% and I am trying to get it now. There is a 1080p file I found with emule search that I am trying to get too, but I will not post it until I can verify it.

Subtitles in multiple languages: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search ... vie-164613

This is streaming and downloadable in your browser with direct links:
720p Chinese:

I have confirmed that the "1fichier 720p" link is live. (Once you click through a number of pages in English and French and click the correct boxes. It is tedious but I have done it many times.) The file is about 1.11Gb and has optional internal English subtitles. The file title claims the audio is 5.1 but it is actually 2.0 stereo.

This is streaming but it looks like the download links are dead. The stream may be downloadable with software.
720p Chinese:

Following are some streaming sources that can be downloaded with various software choices.

720p Chinese without subtitles:

720p Chinese with hardcoded Portuguese subtitles:

There are several other versions at ok.ru.

Thanks, Night457, for this extensive list of links. Now, Usernamenotfound (what a user name!) has a lot of options... ;)

Just let's add my file:

I remember watching this movie as very tiring. Much too long and most of the time you see the same camera angle without anything happening. But maybe that's just art...

Oh good, I don't have to verify a random emule search when ghost has a file! Thanks!

That's Tsai Ming-Liang. He is certainly adored by film critics, so it must be art! All of his films that I have seen have a leisurely pace. This is what IMDB identifies as his trademarks:
Long, fixed shots
His characters frequently have difficulty communicating their emotions with others and with themselves.
Rarely uses a traditional musical score in his films, with the exception of several 1930s Mandarin pop songs.
Very little dialogue
There are floods, leaks, and drafts of wind prominently featured in most of his work.
Prominent ambient sound
Characters who often experiment with their sexuality or their bodies
Running water or the sound of running water
And one of his quotes:
I feel like I'm a citizen of the world, yet there's no single place that I can put my roots down and call home. I don't own anything. I'm not a homeowner. I've always rented and never stayed in one place for long. Almost every time I rent a place, I have some sort of water leakage or flooding.
Every full-length movie I have tried to watch this past week has put me to sleep, including action movies. So I guess it does not make a difference whether or not I sleep during something calmer and slower. The nap will be just as good either way. :D
