Trying to get the dvd, but cant seem to register any of the chinese websites.

I accept the information at mydramalist that this is from
Taiwan (Republic of China) rather than
Mainland China (People's Republic of China)

Admittedly this may be incorrect, as other sites say differently.
Additional information may change my mind.

Mydramalist claims this has 30 episodes, but a playlist at youtube has 33 episodes:

I am not sure if I got the one episode I have from youtube or childrenincinema.

I am no expert on the varieties of Chinese, but it sounds like Mandarin to me.
All episodes seem to be 480p Mandarin with hardcoded Chinese subtitles.

They speak Mandarin in Taiwan.
Actually there were 50 episodes
youku used to have the episodes but they are not there anymore.

I was not even 100% certain that it was from Taiwan, since different sites disagree. Thank you for the confirmation! And now, 50 episodes, wow.

I did not want to state something as fact when I do not trust my own minimal knowledge. I have heard plenty of both Mandarin and Cantonese from the movies I have watched, so I can tell them apart from each other. Of the other varieties of Chinese I have heard virtually nothing. But even comparing mainland Mandarin and Taiwanese Mandarin, I hear enough difference in the dialects and pronunciation that I instantly become unsure of what I think I know. And when I start reading the Wikipedia articles about the spoken Chinese languages, I realize how very very little I know!
