I recorded this movie on my DVR because I saw it listed at RFF. It's mostly a boy movie with a couple of girls in supporting roles, along with a bunch of school kid extras. Nothing even close to an OT scene. It's not something I would download myself, but if there is a big enough interest, I can post it.

Re: Tito i ja (1992)
Think this must have fallen off as sure the film was REl here before !!
Anyway, definitely OT (especially for BM) and also an excellent film. Go ahead and put in REL if you have link.

Well, it's a movie about a boy, but there are no special scenes. The part where he starts eating the wall is kinda weird...billanben wrote:definitely OT
I didn't think this was available on emule, but I just found this (unverified) link:

Not many sources.

Not many sources though
My understanding is that special scenes are not e prerequisite for inclusion. This film, for me, is just the kind of film which this forum is for (even though I am not great lover of BM). It tells the story of a boy in the time of the Yugoslav president Tito.

Re: Tito i ja (1992)
I realize that, as I've released other films here without any special scenes. But if I'm encoding the movie myself, I'd like it to be something worth while or in demand. For instance, Ghost liked my posting of "The Peace Tree" a couple of days ago, but there hasn't been many others interested in it. That makes it hard to get it shared out and sourced. (Not to mention a complete waste of my time and efforts.)billanben wrote:...special scenes are not a prerequisite for inclusion.

I try to do the same thing myself.if I'm encoding the movie myself, I'd like it to be something worth while or in demand
But I mainly release movies I like.
When I make a release, members generally know what I like, and so expect that the film will more than likely have my kind of OT scenes.
Re: Tito i ja (1992)
Debaser and I kind of have the same taste in films
But seriously, I have enjoyed most of your releases Terry, and you will not be disappointed with Tito and me.

Re: Tito i ja (1992)
Having seen this movie a few years ago, it is a BM.
But one thing that struck me was how good of a movie it is.
The way I look at it we should encourage watching of good movies not just movies that may have a few OT scenes.
Sometimes great storytelling, with great acting is much more satisfying than just watching a movie that may not be that great to see a 30 second or 1 Min scene in the movie.
More power to you Terry for bringing a great title to the list.

Re: Tito i ja (1992)
I see a movie that may be of FLM interest playing on TV this afternoon. If so, I'll release it and my rip of Tito tonight/tomorrow morning. My version of Tito I Ja is dubbed in French, which a few people may be able to understand better than the original Serbo-Croatian.

Even though this is a boy movie, there are some cute girl costars.

The first has many sources. (Funny how I missed that yesterday...) If none of the above are any good, just let me know, and I'll share my own rip which is all ready to go.
From rottentomatoes.com:
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/tito_and_me/about.phpGoran Markovic's political comedy was among the last films to emerge from Yugoslavia and is a bitterly funny movie set in Belgrade, circa 1954. The film's lead character is an overweight ten year-old boy named Zoran who has a crush on his classmate Jasna and a bizarre obsession with the Communist ruler of Yugoslavia, Marshall Tito. This obsession is fueled when Zoran enters an essay contest (the topic: "Do You Love Comrade Tito and Why") that, if won, will not only allow Tito to go on a marching tour of Tito's boyhood, but do so alongside Jasna. A surprisingly breezy combination of a coming-of-age movie and a political satire, TITO AND ME is a whimsical pleasure.
