12yo city girl Kärt ( Maria Avdjushko) visits her country relatives. The local boys have a problem: what to play with a 12yo girl (not piano, they suppose)? As the last resort, they study a book about the games of pioneers, which tells that girls like little children, so the boys rent a little brother of a neighbor for 20 Ct./hour. A hooligan friend of the neighbor suggests to kidnap the little boy – the kids would pay the rent until the boy is found and he would get half the money for the ingenious idea! Unfortunately the plan goes wrong and the hooligan ends up in a house arrest. Meanwhile romantic feelings develop between the girl and one of the boys, but how to express the feelings?

Based on a book by Eno Raud, whose son Mihkel Raud played the "hooligan" Riho in the movie.

BTW, Latvian movie "Ja nebūtu šī skuķa" ([REL] Ne bud etoy devchyonki... (1981)) is based on the same book.
