The Yanomami people have been evoked in that topic

and this reminds me of an interesting book that is definitively on topic

Good, Kenneth (January 1997). Into the Heart: One Man's Pursuit of Love and Knowledge Among the Yanomami. Longman. ISBN 978-0-673-98232-2

that describes how this American anthropologist who lived and studied the Yanomami did fall in love with a young native girl (when she was a preteen), Yarima, who married and had children with her later on. Fascinating ! Unlike our little fiction movies, this is real, f…. real, no better testimony than this account.

The book is still available https://www.abebooks.com

My pleasure kev :D

What is interesting here is that it is not a fiction story, it’s real, it did happen, in a recent past, not five centuries ago. The guy is still alive and lives in the US. For a moment, Yarima left her forest and came to live with him and their kids, but she eventually returned in her home country. A few years ago, one of their son, David, decided to visit her mother in her village.

David can be easily contacted, he is the fruit of a prohibited love according to our stupid Dark Ages moral.
