How about Eva Ionesco in Maladolescenza? 'Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere' - or something like this ... ;)

Well, she complains because she anticipates Pippi's hyperactivity causing another situation she has to be rescued from ...

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1261910/ - Mazie laupitaji (2009)
I almost included 'Tippi' in my list, but thought that since it was a documentary it might not be a fit. BUT it IS an amazing, captivating little film well worth watching. Great choice, ferdi. :thumbsup

The 'Matador' series and 'Mazie laupitaji' movie, I'm ashamed to admit, I have not seen.. :o We have 'Mazie..' here, but 'Matador' doesn't seem to be available :think; thanks for the recommendations, I'll have to check these out!

I also thought about her, but decided she leaned more towards the 'mean and manipulative' and downright 'sadistic' side of the spectrum rather than just being

. She most definitely was 'arrogant'.. ;)

That IS true! A good bit of Annika's complaints and 'situations' were a direct result of Pipi's actions.

Mazie... it is absurd story about little Latvian bank robbers a boy and a girl (who wish to help their relatives who are in trouble with mortages)
Matador is Danish period drama about rivality of two important families in fictional Danish town Korsbek. It covers the period 1929-1947 with all it's social changes, WWII e.t.c. Children of both families (or must I say clans) are only some of many characters in the series but it is interesting story to see if you have heard those "when I was young" stories from your granny
Those contrasts riches vs poor were same in every country and pretty understandable no matter where are you from

Thanks, everyone! Some of these seem really interesting. I've decided on My Queen Karo as my next movie to watch. I'm still open to more suggestions.

One other suggestion I can offer is Stephania Potalivo's character 'Ida' from the Forbudt for børn (1998) trilogy, which includes the short films; Buldermanden (1996), Lykkefanten AKA Southern Comfort (1997) and Ogginoggen (1997).

<< ADMIN EDIT >> This 'user' is a bot - do not reply to it.

I'm not asking for movies that I woud enjoy, I'm asking for movies that meet specific and quite objective criteria, which are hard and very time-consuming to determine by just reading about the movies but very easy and quick to determine for someone who has seen the movies

As long as you're not looking for child porn - which we absolutely don't tolerate - or only want films because there's nudity in them, go ahead and ask about what you're looking for.

feroooss, you can ask for everything :) but maybe you can give us tips which themes are interesting for you (for example if you have seen something good and wish to see another movie with same topic/director/or same actors in it)

When I saw Harriet the spy, I loved Michelle Trachtenberg, I thought about looking for the movie where girls have a leading role and it was not necessary to ask in these forums if there are scenes of crying, kissing, or swimming in the river just by watching the movie from beginning to finally one realizes how good or bad it is only if the title character is a girl.
