I loved that adult version. I also like researching, and I came up with a little known 1974 BBC-TV film called "Alice Through the Looking Glass". Sarah Sutton (Nyssa on Doctor Who in the early 80s) plays the part of Alice, and would have been 12-13 at the time. Might be worth finding. Maybe one of our UK friends could tell us more?
