I got this info from a secret source:

I know from 2 different persons about one old japanese movie shown in cinemas in 80s here. Its titles could be translated as "There was a war in my childhood". It is about World War 2. Story of a boy who went from Tokio to some village. Once he discovers that his aunt hidden a daughter (born from american pilot before war started). There is a bath scene with that girl. But i never heard of this scene at the river. So it could be that movie with 50% probabality.

hmm i was looking for a Japanese movie a long time ago with a similar story, called Village of Dreams or something (no not the village of dreams posted here already), i'm sure cvmc had it but now i can't find it there strange i can see the front cover in my head just cant remember the title perhaps it is not the one i am thinking of anyway
